Letters-To-The-Editor

The Texas Railroad Commission race just took a left turn into the SWAMP.

When an Establishment Incumbent is being challenged, the Swamp cries like a baby, lies and distorts reality to confuse and coerce voters to their wicked way.

When an Establishment Incumbent is being challenged, the Swamp cries like a baby, lies and distorts reality to confuse and coerce voters to their wicked way.

The Establishment Incumbent just resorted to New York-style campaigning that includes lies and distortions of the truth about her formidable opponent.  This is Texas and Texans believe in honorable behavior in the face of competition.  Sadly, it has become obvious that the Establishment Incumbent is concerned enough about her bid for re-election to be willing to destroy another person’s reputation via slander and calumny.

The erroneous hit piece mailer received by Republican primary voters throughout Texas actually exposes the swamp-like political tactics designed to confuse voters and retain power for the establishment at the expense of tax payers. An expense of this type would rarely go without the approval of the campaign’s candidate.  This is a product of one whose life is focused on politics and political ascendancy.  Is life all about politics or is life above politics and politics just a part of life?

Moreover, without stating the total facts, the incumbent through this attack mailer has slandered the entrepreneurial spirit of ordinary Texans and has used employees who have self-starting business desires as a political weapon against her opponent who has shown his reliability and industriousness by being gainfully employed by a Fortune 100 Corporation for over 22 years and still to this day.

The high road is obviously less traveled in order to win political office.  Will the voters of Texas condone this type of bad behavior or will they stand up against the swamp by their vote?
